I have a golden ticket.

Actually, several golden tickets.
Yes, I know I am going to New York City to impress the admissions committee at NYU's Duke Institute of Fine Art's with my wit, charm, and intelligence, but this also gives me an excuse to see theatre. I expected to stand in line for tickets at TKTS while my feet fell asleep from the cold. This actually happened the last time I was in New York City. By the time I got to the front of the line my feet were so frozen I was limping. I had to limp to the Times Square Information Center (because it was close and I knew there were seats) and sit and wait for a good half hour for my feet to thaw, because it was hella pain to walk and yes, I know, I am a weak and warm-blooded Floridian.
Anyhow, my mother took pity upon my plight (or maybe she's just compensating me for crashing on my friend's futon) and granted the gift of three shows. So currently I am seeing Spring Awakening on Wednesday night, Company on Thursday night, and Grey Gardens for Saturday Matinee. Friday night and Saturday night are open for SOCIALIZING, so if you are in New York City you must help me with that. Friday night may or may not be booked by my friend who speaks eight languages (I know right) but the more the merrier. Of course I'm all for socializing after the shows too...just keep me busy. And warm. Hee.
